AOL Stream is up NOW!

[dmartnyc]

I'm listening to the full album stream right now -- AOL keyword fleetwoodmac!

Dave

[Mad4stevie]

It isn't up on my AOL . . . the same page is posted that has been there for days

[dmartnyc]

Hmmm - I see:

Listen to 'Smile At You'
Listen to their new CD, 'Say You Will'
Listen to Disc One of 'The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac'
Listen to Disc Two of 'The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac'

Clicked on the second link and I'm listening to SYW!!

"Illume" isn't grabbing me as much as I'd hoped it would, at least on first listen. Although there is a LOT of passion toward the end.

[djames]

I don't see any new links either yet...is there a special link that I am missing?

Don't forget for those of you who don't have AOL, you can go to http://www.aol.com and download AOL 8 plus. It is free for 45 days, so if you don't want AOL, cancel it before the 45 days and you won't be charged.

[Mad4stevie]

Do you have AOL Broadband or dialup? I wonder if it matters?

[dmartnyc]

I have broadband.

[Mad4stevie]

My page still says "Fleetwood Mac Gets Down"

GRRRRRR - this is frustrating!!

[Nightbird_Brett]

Dave,
Do tell...how is "Running Through The Garden"? Please tell me it sounds like the original...not so much Stevie's voice...what I mean is the style...is it the same?

Also, how is "Goodbye Baby"?

Thanks for the info!

[estranged4life]

for the folks who havent heard the album yet (Or for those who are very impatient and cannot wait just a few more days...) Brian J.

I didn't see anything in the Warner Bros. email that you had to have dial-up to hear the album! WTF!!

4 Stevie!!!

[dmartnyc]

AOL doesn't let you choose tracks -- it's one continuous stream. I'm up to "Red Rover" at this point.

"Illume" will take some getting used to for me. As a native New Yorker, and someone who worked for NYU on 9/11 (and who saw the towers fall) I really had high hopes for this song. Toward the end Stevie sings with a powerful and emotive quality... but it's just not pulling me in emotionally yet.

"Murrow..." is quintessential Lindsey. I didn't listen to his demos for the solo album. So, if you love solo quirky Lindsey, you'll like this. If not, you probably won't be crazy about it. No Stevie on this track from what I could hear.

"Red Rover" is very catchy thus far. Lots of Stevie on backups.

Hmm, not sure about Stevie being on Red Rover. Don't really see a point.

Murrow is one of my faves. The voices just coming out of everywhere on the chorus is phenomenal.

Just please tell me Come hasn't been altered too much, and still features the 2 minute guitar solo.

[dmartnyc]

Actually, sorry -- I confused "Miranda" and "Red Rover."

Miranda has lots of Stevie and is very catchy.

Red Rover is again more in the style of experimental Lindsey. Excellent guitar playing, and an interesting arrangement.
