Javier wrote it, huh? It SO sounds like a Stevie song! Great different kind of song, yet she makes it her own.

(Wish I had "Farewell Failure")...

Haven't heard this one. Will dl tonight and share my thoughts. The first thing that came to mind when I saw this post was How Still My Love "You don't forget me" (obviously a word off but still the same idea).

Thanks, HR!!!

The chorus of "You Won't Forget Me" are lyrics Stevie recycles in "All The Beautiful Worlds".

Sounds great!

Anyone heard of Stevie singing a song called "Deep Dense" A/K/A "Funny Kind of Love"? She supposedly wrote this one back then, too.

No, it's still not "right-clicking" these songs into downloading... Maybe someone will post "Long Distance Winner", "I Don't Want To Know" and some of Stevie's other live songs from those 2 shows?

BTW, during "Farewell Failure", I started hearing "Sweet Girl". Maybe the forceful way Stevie was singing it, but it definitely reminded me of the sound of "Sweet Girl".

At work today, I was hopping around with Stevie singing "Take Advantage Of Me" all day... so fun to hear!

Thanks again, HR!

Introducing "Long Distance Winner", Stevie says, "This is for all of the gypsies out there..." Nice little flashforward to 1983, when Stevie would use a similar intro for "Gypsy" on some shows on The Wild Heart tour.

I also love the end, where Stevie adds:

"I tried to win, and I lost again!"

I posted this on the Demo/Live Request thread, but thought maybe someone would see it here:

OH!!!!!!!!!

I was just listening to the BEST "Rhiannon"!!!!!!

It's labeled "Rhiannon ~ Rehearsal 1975", and CMcV introduces the song and Stevie, and it's PERFECT!!!!!

However... During the guitar solo before Stevie starts the "Dreams unwind..." part, the guitar solo keeps looping over and over, like a stuck record! The song never returns to Stevie before it ends!!!!!

This isn't the 1975 King Biscuit Flour Hour/Rock Hoppers Live 1975 version (which JMcV introduces), but a totally different (BETTER! IMO) "Rhiannon".

Does anyone have this????????

Where were you listening?! Oh gosh I need to hear this! If it's YouTube, I know how to rip the audio.
