I was wondering if anyone else hears short, strange, gritty, metallic noises during the live version of Edge Of Seventeen that's on Crystal Visions? I start to hear them beginning with the "the clouds never expect it" verse, and then every so often for the rest of the song.
Is this maybe a flaw in my own CD or is the recording just that way? Thanks! - Jim |

I think I'm hearing it too, holy crap. It almost sounds like it's going with the rhythym, so it could be some kind of synth or instrument in the orchestra. No idea, though.

I thought the same thing too after listening to EO17 on Crystal Visions. But listen to Soundstage/Live In Chicago. Same thing.
I think its just the sloppy way Waddy is playing it the last few years. Sorry Wad-fans! ![]() |

Thanks for responding! I almost went out and bought another copy!
I'll have to check out the Soundstage version now! |

Yeah, it's on mine. Sounds like audio clipping.
