I am now going for sure. Should be a blast.

Dawwwwwww, why do you have to be a at least 18!? Alright. I'll just stay home, dress up in my shawls and lace, and twirl around, while pathetically beating my tambourine and trying to sing some Stevie songs.
Uhmmm....thats a typical night for me anyway.

[SapphireSister]

I'm coming as Lindsey...

LATEST NEWS OF NOTS 3/6/2010

Delighted to share our complete bill for NOTS 20: SISTERS OF THE MOON, as we have just finished selecting this year's debut performers from a giant and very talented pool of applicants. To every performer and ensemble who applied, our thanks for your interest and time - we truly wish we could have included more of you, but have found that the show flows best with 24 segments or under. Also in this newsletter is the NOTS 20 Suggested Dress Code, for those of you who are searching for costume inspiration. If this is your first NOTS, be aware that the dress code is not mandatory, but as always you will have more fun if you participate by dressing up!

THE JACKIE FACTORY is thrilled to announce that their 20th annual edition NOTS 20 will be held on May 14, 2010 at the HIGHLINE BALLROOM in NYC. This year's moonlit, milestone edition was inspired by one of Stevie's most enduring and iconic songs, SISTERS OF THE MOON. Though Stevie has not performed this song much of late, it has remained a showpiece and staple of some of NOTS most thrilling performers past and present.

This year's bill features Legends of Stevie Realness from all eras of the show, and honors them all, our Sisters (and Brothers) of the Moon. Our returning performers are BELLADONNA (CALIFORNIA), SHERRY VINE and EPIPHANY, JUSTIN BOND, THE HO-HOS, GYPSY WILDE, JAZMEN FLOWERS (MISSISSIPI), SWEETIE, ADAM DUGAS, AMBER MARTIN & MIA THEODORATUS, HEATHER LITTEER, DD SPARKS (IOWA), ST. EVE, BILLY O, ADAM JOSEPH, CHARLENE CORAN (COLORADO), THE DIVINE GRACE, VELOCITY CHYALDD, BELLA LUNA, JONNY TINGLE, BROOKE MCMAHAN (FLORIDA), VANGELINE THEATER, DARLINDA JUST DARLINDA, MACHINE DAZZLE, PAIGE STEVENSON and AMBER RAY.

This year's new performers and ensembles have just been selected from forty-odd applicants. We are thrilled to welcome to the show JULIE MYERS aka NEARLY NICKS (CANADA) who performs Stevie in varied venues from Las Vegas to Toronto, THE PEARL DANDY (UK) a British Asian singer-songwriter from East London, and hometown Dragstar GUSTY WINDS. Also making her NOTS debut this year is the director/choreographer RACHEL KLEIN, who will create the opening number with her theater company RACHEL KLEIN PRODUCTIONS. Our all-Stevie, all-Fleetwood DJs are the much-loved CRAIG SPENCER and POISON EVE, with a set by NOTS co-producer JOHNNY DYNELL, who has created many of our special show mixes through the years.

Alright. I've been invited to go by a couple different people. I just might try to make the trip. I may need a cheap motel and ramen noodles, but I really want to try to do this. Gonna see how long the drive is now...
