Turner Model 1 John Mayer??

[chiliD]

After having dinner with Frank Stallone on Saturday night, when he said that I was the only person besides Lindsey he'd ever heard even OWN a Turner Model 1, I got to thinking, there's a bunch of people who have them, otherwise, why would Rick Turner keep making them.

Here's a clip of John Mayer playing a Turner Model 1.

Other major celebs I've seen use them (besides Lindsey) are:

Colin Hay of Men At Work
Leroy "Sugarfoot" Bonner...the guitarist of the Ohio Players

We have a few Ledgie owners, too.

Kiefer Sutherland, too.

Yes we are a unique breed of mongrels.
Pretty cool you had dinner with Frank Stallone. Stevie Wrote one of her songs in his brothers bed.....

Im raging the "To Paul" bit is wearing of the autograph on my guitar. but the model 1 has to be played it just cant hang on the wall.

I seen Keifers one on ebay a while back, wonder if it sold.

I think that was Sly Stone, from Sly and the family stone. That's whose bed she used to write Dreams.

I saw some black guy playing one over in Africa, and no, that's no joke.

John Mayer is a big guy, so the Turner looks way too small when he plays it!

Steve Miller has one. Tom Petty's old bassist had the bass model.

Yeah, I remember seeing Howie (RIP) on SNL playing his Model 1 bass.
