Default Penguin to Unicorn Transformation

So, why did people stop giving Stevie penguins, and instead, started giving her unicorns during the Edge walk? In the RR video she gets several of the same kind of unicorns. Of course, she just didn't get them at that one show. So, what's the deal?

Not sure of the time frame here - - - Could that have been at the time that she and Fleetwood Mac were experiencing . . . different world-views? "Creative Differences?" Going through the "hate" part of their endless love-hate cycle?

I think the unicorns started in 1983 and continued onto RAL. Did the unicorns stay in style when Fleetwood Mac came back in 1987?

Maybe she mentioned something about it at one of her WH shows during her many rambling stories or something, just guessing. By the way I love the rambling stories.

I think it's probably just a reflection of the current popular culture. Snoopy from Peanuts is probably not as popular today as in the 80's, so she probably gets less of those. I remember seeing her get a HUGE Bart Simpson at one of the Timespace shows in the early 90's.

Maybe she sent out an edict: "I ain't John McVie. Stop giving me penguins!"
