This weekend I wrote the first lyric I've written since summer, so I thought I'd share!!!
Feel free to let me know what you think.Toxic Bachelors c. Written: October 10, 2009 Verse: A Starry night, But it's not yet quite evening. You search around because you are in charge. To walk past the doorway and hear- that almost no one's home. Yet on a starry night you walked right up to him. Began to search, both degrading sin. And years can melt down the strength of your vision, But the stars are still out tonight. Chorus: She knows she's dealing with toxic bachelors. No forgiving mind, let along a forgiving heart. You'll turn and leave alone what was a world to him. Yet there's no understanding what comes right in. The night comes strong as you play with toxic sin. So leave alone the bachelors. Verse: Come leave the room, chase him down the hall. Make him feel like you're the beauty in fall. And come to smile at everything he says. But that was so long ago. Now you'll follow someone with trouble. And then let the trouble follow you. The night came strong, writing you stars. But you pulled the stars from the sky. Chorus Bridge: The night came calling out that feeling. And it really felt so good. But your face can no longer be seen. Chorus So there you go- hopefully it's somewhat decent? Just thought I'd share though, because I know how we enjoy reading other people's writing in this place!!!! Much Love, Ethan
