I thought it was popular for being disliked. Not only did Kristen tease it, but Lindsey said other people told him not to put it on the album. I don't like it myself, but I am glad to hear in the face of contrary advice, Lindsey did what he wanted. Or, maybe he did it because he was told not to do it. Either way, I'm glad he hasn't mellowed so much over the years that he loses the instinct to go against the grain.

I really don't have favorite songs, but I did want to say Show You How and Wrong, anyway.

I wonder if Lindsey thought that way when he didn't include it in the UTS setlist. Did he think we wouldn't miss the songs because they didn't sell? If so, I'd like to give him a good talking to.

Michele
I read many articles while Lindsey was on the UTS tour and Lindsey said that Brett Tuggle put the set together. He said that leaving OOTC songs out was no intentional because they had 2 of them rehearsed (All My Sorrows and Turn it On). He said many times that they recieved so many complaints about it that they added Turn it On into the set earlier than planned. And can I just say when they did add TIO, I was in heaven.

I know that Lindsey even pointed out that Brett did the setlist in his band intros. I still insist that LB left out OOTC songs to hurt me, specifically.

It wouldn't have been my choice from the album, but I have to say that I appreciate it so much more than I did when OOTC was released. Frankly, I believe my father's death in 2005 just changed me and caused Turn it On to resonate more than it otherwise would have, especially coming at the end of the show, where I feel emotion was heightened.

Default Favorite Lindsey song

I guess I'll throw in my two cents here!

Hands down, it has to be Go Insane, off of Soundstage. In my opinion, the agonizing, stripped down version is in a league of its own compared to any of the faster, more upbeat recordings.

Soundstage really needs to come out on CD. So many definitive performances. He did fifteen songs and they would probably all fit on a single disc.
