Chickenfoot

[TeenageMac]

To this point in 2009, the great new albums released this year have been pretty scarce, at least in my book. Finally, we've had a few good albums come out in June (Lou Gramm Band, Dave Matthews Band), but the best to this date has been CHICKENFOOT.

This is CHICKENFOOT'S self-titled, debut album. I'm sure some of you have heard of this new "supergroup," but - CHICKENFOOT is Sammy Hagar (Vocals) and Michael Anthony (Bass) from Van Halen, Chad Smith (Drums) from the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Joe Satriani, the legendary guitar virtuoso.

Their debut album is simply amazing. If you love classic hard rock with great groove, amazing guitar work, and "sex-driven" lyrics, then this is your album!

Track List:

Avenida Revolution
Soap On A Rope
Sexy Little Thing
Oh Yeah (1st single)
Runnin' Out
Get It Up
Down The Drain
My Kinda Girl
Learning To Fall
Turnin' Left
Future In The Past
Bitten By The Wolf (UK Bonus Track)

It is simply a great album & I really encourage everyone to go out and buy this CD - $10 exclusive @ Best Buy - Great deal for some great, high-energy new tunes!

Yes, I have the CD, too. I ordered it on-line from Best Buy, $10 & no shipping charge. I love it. And they are currently touring. I hear that they put on a good show. I'm thinking about going to their Atlantic City show next month.
