Default What horrible irony

I just realized how much it sucks that we now live in an era where technology allows us to have basically every show Fleetwood Mac does, many times in great quality, and other then some minor variations its the same every night. Meanwhile there's no telling the amount performances that have gone unrecorded before 1980. We can count on one hand the amount of good quality videos fromt that era.

I'm in no way beign ungreatful to those who record stuff for us, but why is this possible now but not then. I know Back to the Future and other time travel shows teach us that if you have the ability to time travel you should not share that fact with others because it could be disasterous. But we need to make an exception here if any ledgies secretly have a time machine and are just afraid to say so please we need to send Pattie back to 1975. For the price of 3 current concert tickets she can see the whole Rumours and White Album Tour.

And none of us has a machine yet, we need to start collecting funds and donate as much money as possible to scientists to build one for us. The "Send Pattie Back to the Past" Fund.

Jack Finney is dead now, but I believe I've learned enough from him that we could put together a time travel project. You simply have to surround yourself exclusively with things from the seventies, food, cars, dress, buildings, everything. Then, all you have to do is concentrate really, really hard and it will happen.

The problem is, if you bring today's technology into the past, that will immediately catapult you back into the future. So, if Pattie broke out a point and shoot from today when she's back in 1979, she'd land back in 2009 so fast the disco balls would stop spinning.

You remember what happened when Christopher Reeve found that penny in Somewhere in Time, don't you? Michele

Stevie always talks about the lost Klonopin years. If she hadn't been on it for 8 years, I wonder what might have gone differently.

Speaking of Back to the Future, I've actually owned 2 DeLoreans! The only thing I could get them to do at 88mph was break down though!

LOVED your comment about being able to see the entire first 2 Mac tours for the price of ONE ticket these days! That's just crazy to think about!

Before Walkmans ,Minidiscs, Dat, and now Edirol digital recorders and its relatives.I remember back in this time 1977 I brought my full sized boombox to the local theater in town,to record Dolly Parton and Mac Davis concert,It came out awesome, the security did not notice that monster under my draped jacket they did not care. But now I'm kicking my a$$ .I did not took the chance at an Fleetwood Mac concerts at the coliseum or the Civic Center,at those places ,the boombox and me would be history.10 years later at the Tango tour at the Civic center , I got nailed and they compensated the batteries.but lucky they did not take my walkman ,but I had backup batteries in my boots along with extra tapes.
