I like to take lyrics, translate them to a different language, and then translate that back into English. This is how it usually turns out...

A lot of those import singles have the lyrics messed up. Often what happens is when switching languages, you have to change words to make it make sense, but it often ends up making no sense at all. As the original post here shows. Ask Shakira, her songs are written in spanish and then she translates them into english and you end up with really lame lyrics.
Also on import singles I think they just transcribe what they think they hear and being that english isn't thier first language it all falls apart. I have several Alice Cooper import CD's and almost all of the lyrics are wrong in the booklet.
