Just Got Soundstage And Lithiograph! - Page 4

Just bought the DVD this morning, run into it at my record store on the corner...it's playing right now...farbetter then the PBS-version that I had downloaded last month.

Hoppefully the mailman will bring me the CD, which I ordered thru cdwow.com

The Soundstage dvd and cd were released here yesterday. Since I'd already ordered my set with SIGNED lithograph

I only bought the cd and will wait for the set to arrive. I already have the PBS dvd anyway. The booklet is great, 8 pages with lovely pictures. There is a pic of Stevie and Waddy on the cd itself. Oh the cd comes with a sticker saying " Featuring new studio versions of Stand Back, Sara and Landslide.

A few songs fade out at the end: Sara and How Still My Love (this is my favourite on the album, wish it could have gone on even longer than 7:32 mins!). There is no audience audible on any of the songs. Circle Dance has a beautiful string arrangement. And BATB is just hauntingly beautiful!!!

By the way, the dvd definitely contains Dreams and the orchestral version of Landslide as a bonus track. No BATB though... Mixed in 5.1 Dolby Digital, no DTS track was added for this release. Looks like there is no inlay/booklet with the dvd.

Not sure what the shenanigans could possibly be, but it's Warner, and they are the devil, so it's clearly something.

I got mine yesterday!! i love it when i get pre-order stuff early. The CD IS LIVE!!! they just edited out the audience noise. Lithograph is fabulous but it is a weird size. like 7 3/4 by 12. I stopped at Hobby Lobby today to get a frame but it has to be custom made.

It appears that most of you who ordered this deal received, or will receive, an UNSIGNED lithograph. I guess that's what they meant when they said a "handful" will be signed. Those f*ckers.

I will be getting my CD on tuesday. Already got the DVD.

Got mine today. Woo Hoo! That lithograph is beyond stunning...I can't stop staring at it. This may have been discussed in another thread but I couldn't find it anywhere...when was that pic taken? I think it's recent, perhaps shot for the Soundstage promo but I"m not sure. The hair is what I"m going by. Anyone have any opinions??

I wondered that also, because if it existed before, SOMEONE on the Ledge would have known, seen, ect. I remember when the people who went to the preformance came back and reported, they said there was this really cool pic of Stevie in a top hat with like mist around her. I was very intrigued by this. THat pic is so dreamy and mystic and just cool. It looks recent, but Anny body know when it was taken?

I got a message from Warner today that my package was shipped on March 26th. I wonder how long it takes to get to Germany.....can't wait to see that FANTASTIC lithograph. Is there a note somewhere who has taken the photo?

I'm with you on this. Considering that they use standard shipping I hope it won't take years!
