ooh thanks!!!

do u have more videos? I like Sandy very much!
She's got great songs like Catdancers (just loooove this song and the guitar solo at the end is just terrific!), get my way (stevie's harmonies and the syntheziser are the best of the song), I pretend, Saddest victory...
Blue Yonder has great tracks too: when grace is falling, wind song, house of love...
her lyrics are really good. I specially love it when she says: i watch the months go by...I try to justify my list of things to do when all I want is to be with you. That's great!

I think she influenced Stevie (and viceversa) with the new synth sound, and this is very remarkable in the wild heart.

thhaaanks again!!

I recall looking (and finding) her Cat Dancer album years and years ago, specifically because of Stevie's involvement with it. I suppose it never was and never will be released on CD
( Unless it was a fluke huge success in Japan -- then it would cost $$$!). I really like I Pretend, which is essentially a duet with Stevie. I'vs been curious about Stevie's musical relationship with Sandy.

Thank You!! I looked for Catdancer the other day and couldn't find it on any of my BT sites whatsoever, anyone who has I Pretend or any other Stevie-duet or prominent harmonized songs or videos please let me know or post, Sandy is akin to Shannon Mcnally with the non-existence of free downloads, despite the fact that I've supported Shannon at many shows and a couple of her albums... particularly the NY Ace of Clubs gig after Ratdog @ Beacon in 2007... that was some good "why does love got to be so sad," "birdsong," and "bolder than paradise" live stuff, along with sweet barefoot dancing-smiling at her co-players, genuinely grateful to be on stage with John Ginty and Mark Karan etc... (sorry for the non-Mac content)...

Peace love music and twirling down boneshaking chain circle-dances!

she is palying w/The Mark Beets Band out of Huston, Texas. Google Marke Beets Band or put it in YouTube. She only does backup so U really can't appreciate her vocals..too bad.. i thought she coulda/woulda/shoulda been a top 40 hit maker in the 80's... much better than some of the crap put out back then who developed a following thus became "hit makers" so much BS in the buisiness...no wonder she walked away..

Hey everyone...

I'm thrilled to know you guys are enjoying it! Unfortunately, I don't have any other Sandy Stewart videos of any kind... but if I do ever come across something, I'll definitely post it!

There are some good songs on the Blue Yonder LP, although I do much prefer Cat Dancer... just something special about that album. Maybe it's just b/c it always felt like an extension to The Wild Heart to me... especially with "Leave It All Behind" having the exact same backing track as Stevie's demo "One More Tomorrow".

"I Pretend" is definitely a highlight of the album... someone has posted a video collage at YouTube, but here it is in case anyone missed it:

And here is Sandy Stewart doing a Japanese TV ad for Mets (fun little 80's song):
