ya, I liked that one too, but its already gone and forgotten. that was what? 10 years ago? Annyway, Alison Krauss just did missing you with that Jon Waite guy as a duet last year. (its really good. my favorite version actually)

I agree.. I think" Long Cool Woman in a Black Dress" would be awesome by Stevie... I think CCR is another great choice for her..."Have You Ever seen the Rain" would fit so well... Also I love the band America and Neil Young... I think she would cover either one of them well.... I Need You... Daisy Jane.... Sister Golden Hair.../ Heart Of Gold....Eagles of Course... Hotel California...Witchy Woman... Black Magic Woman byFM...Summer Breeze by Seals and Crofts.. or Steely Dan....

I think if stevie did a cover of guy songs she'd do

1.Crash (of course just to capitalize on it being a great version)
2. New York Minute (it was one of my favorite songs to hear her on, when she toured with Henley.)
3. Night Moves (she did one Seger cover i can just hear her making this seductive.)
4. If I Ever Lost My Faith- Sting
5. I Need to Know ( it needs to be done!!!)
6. Misty Mountain Tops ( just the ahs would be great especially if she did them like they are on "The One")
7. Mr. Brightside- The Killers
8. Raspberry Beret- Warren Zevon version more than Princes
9. Wonderwall-Oasis
10. Throw in one original, like Ann Wilson did on her cover cd would be nice.

That's really good. He sounds and looks great. I saw him in Ringo Starr's band a few years ago. I'm almost positive he was on bass, and it was obvious he's very talented.

Do you think others would accept that? ANd maybe get Lindsey on the banjo for a couple tunes ... I bet he'd play a killer "Foggy Mountain Breakdown"! Just a thought ...
I LOVE the thought of all of this!!! "Midnight" would be fantastic! As well as any great Willie love song! She really should do a duet with him before he's no longer with us. He's big on duets, so it's not like she'd have to pull his leg. This is an idea I seriously think we need to start petitioning Stevie over! (Though it wouldn't shock me if he lived to be 105!) And the 'LB on banjo' suggestion is perfect!
