GypsyGirl15 · #4 01-05-2009, 07:26 PM

I kinda looove the one for March. I like her with darker hair.

Haunted_Song · #5 01-05-2009, 07:29 PM

Thanks, Liam! Mine is stuck at the post office, so I won't be able to get it for a few days. I'm so glad you "spoiled" all of us!!!

SortaSavageLike · #6 01-05-2009, 07:31 PM

I'm feeling, oh, about a quarter of these pictures.

Oh well. Back to gawking at my Photobucket.

jannieC · #7 01-05-2009, 08:13 PM

Actually, I think it's stunning. I wish I could afford to get one. I'll be surprised if there is strong criticism for this. Well, I won't be surprised but I will disagree.

vermicious knid · #8 01-05-2009, 08:39 PM

Oooooh, nice. Best calendar yet, no?

Musicman408 · #9 01-05-2009, 09:02 PM

I very much like that. I ordered mine a couple of days ago, so I'm hoping I get it really soon.

I can't wait, I can't wait!!

DeeGeMe · #10 01-05-2009, 09:06 PM

A third of the pics I really like, a third I really don't and I'm just neutral on the remainder.

I really like the behind-the-scenes/working in the studio shots of her. And the one with Robin is great.

MacMan · #11 01-05-2009, 09:07 PM

Actually, that's not bad at all... I like June, December and the cover probably the most...

David · #12 01-05-2009, 09:12 PM

I'm going to go out on a limb here & say that the front cover photo (part of a series, I know) was not shot in 1985 but in 1984. Nicks did have the "rocking-in-the-cradle" motif already mapped out by then (she even talked about it on the "Women In Rock" MTV interviews), & she (& her body) look like an '84 Stevie, not an '85 Stevie.

fleetwoodtrick · #13 01-05-2009, 09:24 PM

Thanks, Liam!!! I'm rather unimpressed. Since I spent most of my cash on those CDs, (I got Mirage, the final, in the mail today!) I haven't had a chance to get the calender. I'm not sure if I will. I got a horse calender for Christmas, anyways.

January and May is he kidding?

The rest are actually much better than what I was expecting from him, have never been a big fan of his work with some exceptions.

The last one is very nice indeed.

I wonder if Stevie is even aware that Herbie is trolling through her negatives and putting out some spectacularly unflattering shots, e.g., the more-chins-than-a-Chinatown-phone-book image he used for October. Yes, these are interesting in a kind of morbidly curious way, but I can see why these photos never saw the light of day... that is, until Herbie needed to pay off his weed dealer.
