Christmas Album Recommendations?
Hey everyone, I am trying to find a Christmas album to buy for my sister for a present. She especially wants one with "Little Drummer Boy". I was going to buy her the Alexander O'Neal Christmas album My Gift To You cuz that's my favorite, but it's out of print! By the way, I always thought "Little Drummer Boy" would be a more appropriate song for Stevie than "Silent Night" (which is a song maade for Christine to sing, actually... but I digress).
Anyway, not only am I asking for suggestions, I thought this would be a fun thread that would be useful to many people during the holiday season. Here are some that I love: Christmas With The Beach Boys (no "Little Drummer Boy") Chris Isaak Christmas (no "Little Drummer Boy") A Christmas Album - Barbra Streisand (no "Little Drummer Boy") My Gift To You - Alexander O'Neal (out of print)

Okay, it's not an album, but you wanted "Little Drummer Boy" and I couldn't resist posting this clip of Grace Jones popping out of a giant wooden crate in a breastplate and doing the hula while she sings that song:
Thanks, Pee-Wee!

James Taylor has a new Christmas album - - I never get tired of listening to his voice...
and he has a refreshingly bluesy version of Jingle Bells: Last edited by SmileAtYou; 12-15-2008 at 06:49 PM.. Reason: Added videos

Ya can't beat Vince Guaraldi's "Charlie Brown Christmas."
Another album that's become a favorite of mine in recent years is Sarah McLachlan's "Wintersong"

Trans-Siberian Orchestra has three incredible Christmas albums. Christmas Cannon Rock is one of my favorite songs. It's on their third Christmas installment called "The Lost Christmas"
