Yep. I'm getting the dvd for $14.99 and the cd for $13.99 because I ordered on Sept. 11 and have gotten the lowest sale price since. Free shipping too, and I'll have a $25 gift certificate from my Amazon credit card rewards program by the time it comes out. So I'm sitting pretty on this whole thing, although I'll have to wait an eternity to get them. Patience is a virtue.

Some possible good news about the Soundstage "Live In Chicago" DVD.
I'd been waiting to hear news about the Blue-ray Disc release of this or
any of the other Soundstage releases. And I've finally found out some of
the Soundstage DVD's will be released on Blue-ray. Not only will that mean
it will be released in true High Definintion (the PBS DVD is a little misleading
to some, I think it said "captured in Hi-Def, and for those that don't know it's
just a standard release which of course just means standard definition). But
since they are recorded in High-Definition it was just a matter of time before
they started to release them on the new format.

So what does that mean for Stevie fans??? Bonus songs not released on the
standard DVD. I do not know the titles of the bonus song(s) yet, or the release
date of Stevie's Blue-ray DVD. But I'll keep my eyes open.

Hopefully one of the bonus songs on the Blue-ray version will be "Beauty And
The Beast" (fingers crossed).

Now I'll have to buy a Blue-ray DVD player!

I'm not sure if you happen to have a PS3 around your house.. but if you do, you won't need to go out and buy this player especially for that, as a PS3 will also play Blue-ray dvd's as well!

The only song that i don't think should be on there is Stand Back, because we've heard it live so many times (LIB, the CV iTunes bonus track) but other than that, i am very pleased with the other songs on here, because as far as a CD release of live material goes, the other songs are Stevie "rarities".

I sort of agree with you regarding Stand Back. I can accept another live Stand Back, though, for the fact that it's her show opener. I share your satisfaction about the CD song list -- someone in production got it right. It could have been very redundant --yet another Dreams, another Rhiannon...

That's disheartning! So many fans have been patient and and were counting on it by the end of this year. The Mac may come out with their new cd before Stevie ever gets this released!

Really? None of the websites selling the CD and DVD are showing the date change yet... Is your source a person or website?

Yea, that's true. When Stevie was on Ellen promoting Crystal Visions last year, Ellen asked her if the Mac were getting back together, and Stevie was like "uhh uhh uhh...the answer is not no", so maybe they realized it might be better to wait for the Mac to get back together. Although, no one is showing the date change, so i don't know what's going on.

Hi RockALittle, my source has been very reliable as I had the original post about the track list and date of release before any of the major retailer's websites posted them. I can't say who my source(s) are. I'm not playing the big shot here, I just would like to keep my sources. I've been very fortunate to meet some of the right people in the music industry. So from time to time I pass on what I can here on this website.

I agree with Michele (I think I'd posted something similar earlier in this thread) that it might be delayed to coincide with something big, like the Mac tour.
