Default Stevie is a boy?

I have been talking much about Stevie in school, like in my english lessions we had a task to teel the class about a song and I chose Edge Of 17. And in my swedish lession (I'm swedish) we had to write poems and I wrote some Stevie quotes and stuff about Stevie. And now, to the question...Does anyone that you know and that you've talked to think that Stevie is a boy??? Well, my swedish teacher said to me "What kind of music does HE play?" And I just "Well, Stevie is a GIRL, her real name is Stephanie" And one of my friends said when she looked at the Crystal Visions album cover "Oh, it's a girl" And I get so tired of hearing "Is Stevie a girl?"!!!! Anyone who feels the same way?
But I'm also very glad that I have some teachers in the school that are Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks fans! Because I'm living in a VERY small town in Sweden and didn't think that there were many Stevie fans here...
Well, my english teacher said "Well, I thought the song (Edge Of 17) was very good, but I don't know who it is that is singing..." I said "Stevie Nicks, and she's a member of the group Fleetwood Mac" and then she said "Oh, I thought it was her! Fleetwood Mac is one of my favourite groups of all time and I got many of their records at home!" And some other teacher in the school is BIG fans

But to the Stevie guy question. Have you ever heard anyone who has thought she is a guy???

Have a nice Halloween!!!
Hugs

I get the 'Lindsey is a guy?!' thing more.

Everyone knows about Stevie being a girl at my school since last year, I dressed up as her for Halloween. Perks of being on the newspaper staff? My picture was all over it.

I used to work at Target and was on a managment trainee course. On the first day we had to introduce ourselves to another person who would then tell the rest of the class about us. Stupid idea but anyway...

I told the girl I introduced myself to that I was into Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac. She stood up and said "Chris likes Stevie Nicks, whoever HE is". Arrggh...

I was talking to a teacher once (I had randomly blurted out that I was so excited that I got to finally write the date 9/16/08) and she asked me if it was my birthday. I said no, a CD is coming out by my favorite artist, Lindsey Buckingham. She then said "Oh, she's still putting out records?"

I don't think I have heard the "Stevie's a girl?" thing about this Stevie. One time in Band class a sub was doing attendence and was surprised to see that the name "Stevie" belonged to a girl , so she said "Yeah, like Stevie Nicks..."

UGH, YES! Well most of the people in my school (especially my best friends Jessica and Alyssa!) know who Stevie is from my obcession. I've also sparked a few haters from babbling on and on about her, like my friend Max. (Well, ex-friend, LOL!) So I wore my Crystal Visions '08 tour shirt to school yesterday and this really snobby girl in my Home EC class is like 'WOAH, I THOUGHT STEVIE WAS A DUDE!" She said that like five times really loud, and I almost slapped her. Grrrrr....
