I only got to watch two games this weekend....we are moving our office. So I got up and was in the office by 5:30 a.m. and worked until 4:30 p.m. scanning files, and packing boxes.

I got to watch 1/2 of the Colorado-Texas game. (Despite the 38-14 loss, I still love you Dan Hawkins!) The students got rowdy and threw stuff (gold towels) onto the field.

They can be a rowdy bunch....They got evicted from the stadium one year (the whole flippin' student section) when they played Nebraska.

Word had it that Nebraska fans spit on Chase Daniel (Mizzu QB). I don't believe it, but I wasn't there.

My son is the big Nebraska Fan. He's 18 and attends CU but his heart is in Nebraska. We agonized -- but couldn't afford the out-of-state tuition.

Nebraska had possesion of the ball, A LOT, but couldn't punch it in. Big time loss 52-10 to #3 Missouri.

Because I was working, I missed the weekly Notre Dame game...

OK, guys tell me what I missed....what games did you watch?

from Texas, 'cause the only Aggies I know of are the (Formerly known as) 'Aggies' of Oklahoma A&M (The currently Oklahoma St.)

I think after this coming weekend there will be only one undefeated team from the state of Oklahoma - Tulsa!!! T.U. (The HIGHEST scoring offense in the NCAA) plays at SMU (aka the Dead Ponies), Blow-U plays the 'Horns and the 'Aggies' play at Miss-ou.

Cool More Oklahoma/Texas jokes...

Two Sooners and a UT fan are walking to the Cotton Bowl together for the game.

As they round a corner there in front of them is an unconcious woman laying naked and face up on the sidewalk.

While a 4th fair patron runs to summon the police, the 3 game-goers decide that the noble thing to do is to protect this womans modesty.

So they take their ball caps off and cover her privates with them.

After the police arrive they determine she is dead and they begin to write their reports.

One young officer was assigned the task of describing the victims body. He lifts the "Sooners" cap off of her left breast stares for a brief moment and then sets it gently back in place and begins to write in his notepad.

Next he lifts the "OU" cap off of the womans right breast, studies it for a brief moment and then sets it too back gently and again writes in his notepad.

Finally he lifts the "HORNS" ballcap off of her pubic region. He studies it for a few moments and then sets the cap down and begins to scratch his head. He thinks for a few moments and then lifts the hat again. Again he puts it back down and scratches his head.

As he begins to lift the cap for the 3rd time, the UT fan has had enough.

"Hey there, young fella" he yells "what are you some sorta perv?? Or have you just never seen one of them before??"

"No Sir" the young officer replies. "Usually the only thing we ever find under a HORNS cap is an asshole"

----------------------

A Sooner fan, a Univ of Texas fan and a Oklahoma State fan were all in Saudi Arabia, sharing a smuggled crate of booze. All of a sudden the Saudi police rushed in and arrested them. The mere possession of alcohol is a severe offense in Saudi Arabia, so for the terrible crime of actually being caught consuming the booze, they were sentenced to death!

However, after many months and with the help of very good lawyers, they were able to successfully appeal their sentence down to life imprisonment. By a stroke of luck, it was a Saudi national holiday the day their trial finished, and the extremely benevolent Sheik decided they could be released after receiving just 20 lashes each of the whip. As they were preparing for their punishment, the Sheik suddenly said, "It's my first wife's birthday today, and she has asked me to allow each of you one wish before your whipping."

The Oklahoma State fan was first in line (he had drunk the least), so he thought about this for a while and then said, "Please tie a pillow to my back." This was done, but the pillow only lasted 10 lashes before the whip went through. The Oklahoma State fan had to be carried away bleeding and weak with pain when the punishment was done.

The Texas fan was next up (he almost finished an entire fifth by himself), and after watching the scene, said "All Right! Please fix two pillows on my back." But even two pillows could only take 15 lashes before the whip went through again, sending the Texas fan out crying like the little girly man he so clearly was (a la Hans und Franz).

The Sooner fan was the last one up (he had finished off the crate), but before he could say anything, the Sheik turned to him and said, "You support the greatest team in the world, your alumni has some of the best and most loyal football fans in the world. For this, you may have two wishes!"

"Thanks, your most Royal highness," the Sooner fan replies. "In recognition of your kindness, my first wish is that you give me not 20, but 100 lashes."

"Not only are you an honorable, handsome and powerful man, you are also very brave," the Sheik says with an admiring look on his face. "If 100 lashes is what you desire, then so be it. And your second wish? What is it to be?" the Sheik asks.

"Tie the Texas fan to my back."

---------------------------------

A first grade teacher in Austin, Tx, explains to her class that she is a Longhorn fan.

She asks her students to raise their hands if they, too, are Longhorn fans. Everyone in the class raises their hand except one little girl...

The teacher looks at the girl with surprise and says, " Janie, why didn't you raise your hand?"

"Because I'm not a Longhorn fan " she replied. The teacher, still shocked, asked "Well, if you are not a Longhorn fan, then who are you a fan of?"

"I am a Sooner fan," Janie replied. The teacher could not believe her ears. "Janie, WHY are you a Sooner fan?"

"Because my Mom is a Sooner fan, my Dad is a Sooner fan, so I am a Sooner fan also."

"Well" said the teacher, in an obviously annoyed tone, "that is no reason for you to be a Sooner fan. You don't have to be just like your parents all the time. What if your Mom was a snotty arrogant jackass and your Dad was a snotty arrogant jackass, what would you be then?"

"Then" Janie smiled,"We'd be Longhorn fans."

-----------------------------

An OU fan and a UT fan were both in the Cotton Bowl restroom...after getting through w/ their business...the UT fan washed his hands and the OU fan didnt.

The UT fan couldn't help but notice and said...."yea over in Texas...they teach us to wash our hands"....

the OU fan said..."yea well in Oklahoma...they teach us not to pee on our hands"....and with that, he walked out.

Oh estranged4life...you got a million of 'em....

I am really looking forward to the Texas-OU game. I don't have a favorite. It should be a good game...a clash of the Titans....and I'm glad that it's a Big 12 televised match.

We are moving our office this weekend...but I am in hopes that I can find TV set come noon, or that we can start moving on Friday.

We are to get our first snow this weekend...and it will just make the furniture, all that more heavy...

^^^Ya mean before ABC (Who kissed O-Who's ass so much their announcers had Crimson & Cream lips) turned off the audience microphone feed? Yeah, I heard it...LOVED it to!!!

My brother (A Texas resident) and I talked on the phone the whole game, We both enjoyed O-Who getting their asses whipped yet again.

As my OSU t-shirt reads "Friends dont let friends attend OU"

O-Who's punter should win the Academy Award for his William Shatner styled acting "injury"...If one is to portray being injured, AT LEAST hold onto the leg the defender ran into to

How about those OSU Pokes beating the 'mighty' Mizzou Tigers??? Great!!!

My throat hurts from too much screaming at the TV. (And the dog kept running outside.)

Colorado didn't beat Kansas (I still love you DAn HAwkins and Cody Hawkins) but I was flipping back and forth from that game to the OU-Texas game....then stayed with ---- Hook 'em Horns! I wanted them to beat OU and they DID! Yea Livia!!!
Drink something in celebration for me too!

Then there was Nebraska-Texas Tech and OVERTIME -- but alas NU, it was not to be... I still love you Joe Ganz!

Oklahome State and Missouri --- I was waiting all day for this one! I had to use the bad TV since the good TV was hooked up to some sort of political thing explaining the amendments...

estranged4life -- the Aggies did it! Woo Hoo! Drink a beer in celebration for me!

...meanwhile I am gonna finish off this bottle of whatever my twenty-something-aged-children have left on the counter ...

Texas Tech rolled over Kansas 63-21

Oklahoma creamed Kansas State 58-35

CU plays Missouri tonight -- that ought to be a huge score vs. a single digit... (but I still love you Dan Hawkins!)

Right now, I am watching OK State take on Texas.... Kind of...we got unexpected relatives coming to stay in a few hours.

I hate unexpected company. The house looks like a goodwill dumping ground...lots of crap...everywhere....and I ain't in the mood to clean.
