Thumbs up Fleetwood Mac Face Off: Round 4

World Turning has been voted off!

Vote for your LEAST favorite song from this album. I'll start a new poll within 24 hours with the next round. At the end we will have a winner, and move on to the next album. This is just for the rumours like up (hence being in the rumours section) so we will only be doing albums with all 5 members present (mick, john, christine, stevie lindsey) I'm not sure if we should do live albums yet (Fleetwood Mac Live, The Dance) or keep it with just studio albums. But we'll cross that bridge when we get there. If you have any suggestions, feel free to PM me.

Vote for your least favorite song from the Fleetwood Mac White Album.

Fleetwood Mac White Album
Monday Morning
Blue Letter
Rhiannon
Over My Head
Crystal
Say You Love Me
Landslide

ugh. love the rest, but I had to go with landslide purely for the fact that I love the Dance version so much more.

How much better would Crystal have been without Lindsey singing it?

I was just thinking that it would have been the best song ever if Stevie had sang it in her 1970's voice without Lindsey...but maybe that is just me...

Blue Letter. It's a pretty good song & they did it well live in that first year of touring, but there's a blandness to it on the recording -- it doesn't shout "HEY! THIS BAND IS SPECIAL!"

It sure as hell does!! (especially, if you compare it to the original version which sounds like a bad Eagles outtake)

John McVie makes his presence known in a BIG way on "Blue Letter".

That's QUITE the assumption...

Or, how much WORSE would it have been?

Sounds pretty fine just "as is"...they found they couldn't really improve on the original Buckingham Nicks version except for Christine improving the keyboard outro. So, let's just leave it at that.

Do not appologize. It would have been MUCH cooler.
