I am so thrilled that all you Ledgies have shared your stories here. I never meant to say that Stevie should single out her gay fans, treat them any better or worse than her straight fans, nor did I mean to imply that she neglected us either. I think that her gay fans have a unique relationship with her music, much in the same way her straight fans do. I was just curious if any of the gay magazines ever interviewed her and if she ever made any comments about her gay fans or perhaps even the drag queens who often emulate her. I remember Cher on Rosie O'Donnel's show offering tips to drag queens who might do her. It was really funny.

Thank you for the interview links and postings, and especially for the stories. Keep 'em coming.

I love that stevie brings people together like this. straight gay old young, ect. a frined of mine attended a concert with me a while back was like wow, theres a really wide range of people here. haha, i was like yep, thats putting it mildly. I have always thought the key to peace on earth was alittle stevie. hahaha. kinda like my friend who ONLY listens to country music, and we went on a road trip, luckilly, i had my stevies country mix cd. we thought we were gonna argue about music. and didnt. sorry, that was kinda a tangent. annyway, peace in the middle east? ... STEVIE. Cure for Racial injustice.....Stevie .. Somewhere someone is expieriencing social injustice? Stevie should like decend from a cloud into the midst and bigin to sing. Got a cold? ... Ok, i'll stop.
