Painting that looks hauntingly like Stevie

One day I walked into my friend Jason's apartment, when, much to my surprise , I saw this beautiful painting that he's working on. I oohed and aahed over the painting, telling him how much it looked like my favorite rock goddess, the gorgeous Stevie Nicks. However, he had never heard of this "Stevie Nicks" before.

I just had to share this painting with other Stevie fans. I am posting the painting as well as a photo of Stevie that it reminds me of. I have to give credit to Jason Wilkins for this painting because he is amazingly talented. He is an art student at the same University that I attend.

What do you guys think?

Never heard of her? Perhaps. But I can't believe he didn't see the pic on the right at least once in order to get inspired. If not, then it's downright freaky. Wooooo (sound of spooky ghost)

It does look like her! Especially in this pic ( I think)

If the painter is telling the truth that he's never heard of her, it sure a weird coincedence

The painting is fabulous! If he doesn't know who Stevie is, did he possibly use some kind of photograph as a model and didn't realize that he was painting a picture of her? Because it looks just like her, and to be honest it is her. Totally. Tell your friend the painting rocks!

Never heard of Stevie before??? I've got to say, if he hasn't then that is a freakish coincidence because at the very least the gorgeous painting DEFINATELy has Stevie's fingers. But the art is amazing. Kudos to your friend!!!

That painting is beautiful and he did a wonderful job. However, I just can't believe he hadn't at least seen a picture of Stevie somewhere, but just didn't know who she was lol. If not then that is really freaky and a huge coincidence.

Well, what I think it interesting from the posts is that it seems to be a compilation of so many different pictures of Stevie and not just copied from one. So, even if he was totally using Stevie pictures as a model, there was some originality involved in merging them.

Michele
