What amazes me is how Stevie is able (& willing) to maintain this grueling touring schedule, year after year after year. This is a woman who, thirty years ago, got so tired on long FM tours that she could barely work up the strength to sing "Rhiannon" & "Angel."

Now it's thirty years later, & Stevie tours every year, sometimes twice a year, at the age of 60.

I just got back from the Mohegan Sun show tonight, GREAT show. Stevie may be doing the same old set list, but she's having a blast doing it. Even "Crash" was fun, and she said that doing that song has been the most fun she's had on stage in 15 years. This was basically the same show as last year, but the crowd ate up every second of it. Stevie thanked us at the start for allowing her to walk out to a full house, and again at the end for "being a great crowd, I don't get crowds like you every night, I'm beoming an old lady and you've made this so much fun for us."
So for anyone thinking about going, do yourself a favor and go, you WON'T be disappointed. Oh and to top it off, I won $143 on a slot machine, not too bad!!!

This is exacally how i felt after seeing her back in September, Blah, blah, the set list...I KNOW. But this was the best id ever seen her. and the happiest ive ever seen her. No there were no "rarities" or "surprizes" and its not 1983, but IT WAS A GREAT SHOW AND A GREAT PREFORMANCE . She really did not dissapoint. Glad to see thats still the case. I actually can't wait to get to hear her do crash in person. I ADORE the dance of seduction after HSML., and whish she'd kept sara in the set, but hey, the dvds commin out soon, so its cool.

Glad u had such a great time!

In the end, given the choice between only one or the other, I'd take an awseome performance of a tired set list, over a great set list not done very well, although really there's no excuse to not have a little of the latter mixed in, but when it comes down to it, while your there what matters most is HOW she is performing, not WHAT she is performing (again i'm not letting her off the hook )

So, she once had a really great time on stage 15 years ago? 1993. Michele

I thought touring with Tom Petty was the most fun she's had on stage?

I thought the 'Shake The Cage' tour with Rick and Billy in FM was the most fun she had on stage.

That was the most fun she ever had more than 15 years ago. Michele

Oh ok. So The STC tour was fun, and then presumably straight up through 1993 to this day, she didn't have fun. That's too bad that touring was such a drag for her. I might have thought 'The Dance' tour would have been fun, as it was a return to the glamour of a high-dollar tour (compared to SA, which was in buses) and also because she had Christine there with her.

I also might have though the first Vegas shows would be fun for her too, because of the special effects she introduced. But maybe they were stressful..

You guys! You're reading Stevie much too literalmindedly.

And don't forget to factor in the +/- 5 margin of error. So it could have been the most fun she's had since the Dance Tour... or the STC tour. In any event, Mama just likes any excuse to hike up her skirt, mmkay?
