To be clear, esp. on this board, LB can never do any wrong. He is an Angel to La Nicks. He goes out of his way to accomodate her every insane wish, and they are many considering she lies and baits him at every chance she gets. Moreover, La Nicks is always lying and two faced when she speaks of LB in any manner other than praise Finally, LB never tries to pull strings or make demand and when and if he does, they are solely for the sake of artistic integrity, which he alone has in spades

I, for one, am happy that Stevie has finally claimed her rightful role...no disrespect to Lindsey or any other band member...THEY ARE ALL GREAT, and I love them all (musically) as a band, and individually, but right or wrong, Stevie has been the face of FM FOR THE MASSES, since she joined. It's no secret that as a solo artist, she has been the most successful, and with Lindsey's undeniable brilliance as a picker and a singer, that has had to smart his (not inconsiderable) ego over the years ... and it's also obvious (to me anyway) that Stevie purposely tried (unsuccessfully, imho) not to shine on the SYW tour (the drab dress, few if any shawls... acting like just one more member of the band) ...

I think the others envied Stevie her huge celebrity (please, no cracks about huge celebrities), but at the same time I think she envied them their various abilities: playing an instrument, arranging a song, etc.

It should have all evened out in the end, at least in the eyes of the fans. But, strangely, it didn't.

Let this stand as a lesson for us all: We all have particular strengths & talents. Come, celebrate us home!

The interviewer asked if she was working on a new album and she answered "yes" I realise she says she hasn't recorded anything, but seeing as a few years back she said she was done releasing new music I still saw it as a positive statement.

Nothing we haven't seen before. It's got the recent Stevie pic with the black guitar and a bunch of others we've all seen before, including a huge one of Stevie with Bugs Bunny! I would scan but my scanner isn't working since I upgraded to Windows Vista.

Btw, the interviewer is Sylvie Simmons, who has interviewed Stevie many, many times before, so I'm sure that's why she got away with asking some of those questions!

Well, she answered "yes" to writing continually. It was a positive slant on the whole writing/recording process, which I guess is better than saying "what's the point?"
