Stevie Nicks will apper at SLU's new arena June 13


Singer/songwriter Stevie Nicks, a key member from the legendary group Fleetwood Mac, will perform an exclusive concert at St. Louis University new Chaifetz Arena at 8 p.m. on Friday, June 13.

Tickets are $45, $65 and $95 and go on sale at 10 a.m. at metrotix.com, select Schnucks and Macy stores and by phone at (800) 293-5949.

Famed for her mystical chanteuse image, Nicks' Fleetwood Mac and solo careers have collectively produced more than 20 Top 50 hits, seven Grammy nominations including a Grammy for Album of the Year (Rumours) and an induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.

With the release of "Bella Donna" in 1981, Nicks' solo career took off with three Top 20 hits with "Edge of Seventeen (Just Like the White Winged Dove)," "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" and "Leather and Lace."

Rock singer Stevie Nicks will perform at the new Chaifetz Arena at St. Louis University at 8 p.m. June 13.

Tickets are $45-$95 and go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday.

Nicks was one of the lead singers of the long-running rock band Fleetwood Mac and also has had a successful solo career with hits such as "Stand Back" and "Edge of Seventeen."

Chaifetz Arena’s first concert is Barry Manilow on April 25.

Posting pre-sale passwords on public fan message boards only makes it easier for the scalpers. They're not only trolling for passwords, but to gauge how high the ticket demand may be, and how much $$ diehard fans are willing to pay.

I know they can, and do, join every fan club and sign up for everything themselves. Even the ones that cost money to join. But what is the foremost trait of a thief? They are lazy. Make it easier for them to steal, and they'll take advantage of it. And who ends up getting screwed? The true fans.

Share away, I'm merely suggesting you do it via PMs.

You're right, they don't sell all available seats for concerts. I just bought seats for Stevie Nicks. The seating diagram shows the stage being positioned at one end of the oval-shaped arena. My guess is there will be 8,000-8,500 available seats for that show. It's kind of a long walk from the Grand Metrolink station to the Arena. In good weather, I'd do it. But not everyone would be willing to.
