Maybe I'm wrong, but I thought message boards ran parallel on multiple servers...kinda like writing to two hard drives (even I have that). One goes down you switch over to the other. And, no matter what the problem, why would it take six days to fix?

This would be the appropriate place for the owners to communicate to people about what is going on if they elect not to email everyone from the email addresses collected in their paypal box. The people could post messages about the situation rather than here.

I think the site is down right now. Barbara was on the board but from what I understand she was banned before it went down. They are kind of slow in responding to new member request but when it comes back up just keep trying. I am sure Barbara will be back when in due time. If I understand correctly her ban was more of a time-out punishment for something.

Barbara was banned? It must have been the skirmish with OC about Michelle and Bella Donna.

John Kinney once booted me right out of the old Internet Relay Chat (IRC). Boot-Drop-Fliiiiiing. I was discussing great James Bond heroines with a friend, & I mentioned Pussy Galore.

Those goofy gals. They were at each other's throats back in the Yahoo Group for tribbie bands. But Michelle did a stupid thing by shutting down the entire group, so all us tribbie band personnel had to find other digs to talk to one another about the "scene."

What was the skirmish. I just heard she was banned. Last I ever saw over ther was Barbara shouting out praises about Michelle so I was surprised to hear there was a big fight and Barb was banned.

So I didn't want to fill up The Ledge with 7Wonders issues, but then when I bite the bullet and decide to come over, it appears that it already has...lol!!!

The server crash for 7Wonders was completly unexpected and my host didn't see it coming and neither did I. They really didn't have much information to give me or I would have given it out to be passsed along.

I have received and sent several emails from 7W members and gave them all the information I had and asked them to pass it along in hopes it would reach the majority of the members. Last I was told is that it will be up sometime tomorrow, March 10, 2008. It's very frustrating to me as I have been given no definate answers so I have nothing secure to give to all of you other than what has already been stated by myself and others.

I know that alot of you are upset, confused, and leary of what is going on and that is completly understandable, but please know that I have been working very hard at getting all this situated and back on track. Alot of you think that it has to do with money, but in fact the board has been paid for the next 6months in advance. So please understand that this was/is NOT my fault so please don't take it out on me!!!

So, thank you everyone for your patience and understanding!
