The DiscoTech is the Disconet Mix. Disconet was the name of the a remix service.

Actually, GoldDustOrphan, we're not supposed to share commercially available recordings here and those B-52's mixes just hit iTunes. Not to be a narc but I don't want the board to get shut down or the owners to get in any trouble.

Oops, sorry. Maybe I was mistaken. I guess if the Sissor Sisters have the link up it's okay. I just don't want to see them get hurt by people posting new stuff when it's just been released.

It's funny, because I'm on both sides of the coin on this subject. I love to trade and download rare FM and Stevie tracks but the thing is that while us fans trade all kinds of unreleased stuff, most of us own every CD, every Box set, every video or whatever we can find when we become fans, so we've done our part, so I guess it's okay. But where I work we have to keep very close watch over message boards and blogs for people who make our stuff available for free. We're a small company and it drives me crazy that we'll spend tons of time, effort and money to make a movie only to have some blogger put a link to it on their blog the day after it's released. Here we are thinking it's going to be a big boost for our company and people are stealing it already. So I get a little sensitive about this.

No, you were correct. The B-52s mixes were posted and they were deleted. Thanks for being observant. We do want to make sure that no copyrighted music is shared here. It's great that everyone is so conscientious. Keeps the site out of trouble.
