Default Orlando - Tourist Advice Anyone?

Here's the deal. I pay for my own plane ticket to Orlando and get to stay for free with some friends who are attending a bank convention March 2-6th. I fly down on the 29th of Feb and fly out the 7th of March.

The convention is at the Orlando World Center - Marriot Resort.

My plan is to hit the theme parks while everyone else is in meetings.

Any Ledgies live in/around Orlando, who could recommend some insider stuff for me? And how close is the Marriot to the theme parks? or cool places?

(I want to get away from the mts and snow...but am still undecided if I should go.)
