Default Anybody collect toy animals?
Kind of a silly question, but I'm starting to myself. I was standing in line at my local hobby shop when I noticed they had a display of "Schleich" figurines, a German company that makes a wide range of vinyl animal replicas. I've bought their Humpback Whale, Whale Shark, and Minke Whale, all part of their "1:32 Scale Sea Animals" series. They're somewhat expensive (I forked over $18 for the Humpback) but very nicely painted and detailed. I love my Humpback so much I even named him - George - after one of the whales from Star Trek IV!

God help me when I have a bit of disposable income...I'm already eying their whale calves, sharks, dinosaurs...oh crap, their goes my bank account!

i think Schleich made the little PVC Smurf figures back in the day!
