On which 'Say You Will' songs does Christine play?

Not to mention five or so more ITM songs scattered throughout! Ah, what could have been.

Ah yes - we can but dream.

sigh

Indeed.

Well, it's easy enough to burn yourself a CD with your five favorite Stevie songs and your five favorite Lindsey songs from 'Say You Will,' and include your five favorite songs from 'In the Meantime.' It still doesn't make a Fleetwood Mac record, which has those three voices blending so magically together and those four great instrumentalists working together.

I look at ITM as a miracle.... So anything after this would really blow my mind from CM

I totally agree. I'm hoping that maybe she's just a tad bored right now & maybe we might get a little something more from her.

that would be great but I'm not holding my breath. I have a feeling our tea lady has done her last album.

That is certainly my hope, too. It seems unlikely that she'll record or perform with Fleetwood Mac again, but I think another low-key solo release is a possibility, given that there is no big record company putting pressure on her to sell a given number of copies. Musicians don't just stop making music. It's not like being a secretary where you go to work, do your job and go home; it's there with you all the time.

My not-so-secret wish is that she'd record with Bob Welch again. I think an acoustic album with just the two of them would be fabulous, just guitars and keyboards (and Chris can play some of those percussion instruments she's so adept at). I don't expect this to happen; it's pure fantasy. But who expected 'In the Meantime'?

I think that would be great but highly unlikely. Didn't Bob say, when asked, that he didn't think Christine like him very much?

ITM is a miracle. But let's be catholic and pray for another!

I honestly don't think this is the last we heard from her.

He did say something like that. He assumes that she dislikes him since that lawsuit. And I suspect Chris and Bob haven't had much if any contact in a long time. Ironically Bob's friendly with Stevie. Maybe Stevie could talk Bob into doing a musical project with Chris as a ploy to get her back into Fleetwood Mac ....

Now THAT's really a stretch.

I told you this Bob/Christine duo project was pure fantasy.

In his second Q & A here, I asked him when he had last spoken with her & he said back in the early 1990's around the time Mick was putting the Chain box set together. That was before the lawsuit.

I think she's gearing up for another big release!
No shows, just some sweet pop-rock.

brown, there's some idiot over there on the Lindsey board raving about what a great piano player Stevie Nix is, & how she's better than Christine, yadda yadda.

All I can say is:

SHAKE 'n' BAKE!!
