Edge of 17 Remix by SandyMac

[SandyMac]

I got inspired to try my first attempt ever at remixing songs.
Below is my remixed version of Edge of Seventeen. Let me know what you think. Hopefully this will tide us over until the official remix comes out.

Not bad for your first - the only criticism I'd have with it is that the beats were off to the original sometimes and kinda made it difficult to listen - but overall I thought it was pretty cool!

Is there a special software you used to make this?

I know, staying on beat is extremely difficult with the edge riff going throughout the song. It drove me crazy. I even used a metronome. I love Waddy, but he did not stay in beat and he sped up and slowed down.

I used Acid Music software.

I could still tweak it for hours to try to get it right, but there is only so much one can do if you don't have the original tracks. I worked on it for about 2 months off and on trying to get the beat right. If I messed with it more, I would not enjoy Edge anymore, believe me.

Well, practice makes perfect, so since this is my first only attempt, I can only get better.

Thanks for taking the time to listen and post. I thrive on comments and suggestions, it makes me push harder to do better next time.
