This song was a Stevie Nicks & Mike Campbell collaboration, written around the Rock a Little era!
I love this song, Has killer lyrics and I can so see Stevie wrapping her voice around this. I wish she had recorded it...It was probably done as a demo...so someon, somewhere must have this.... She gave it to the Williams Bros., cause she took "Some Become Strangers" which was written by them. |

I saw the Williams Bros. (I used to call them the Willies) open for Suzanne Vega in wherever, the Wiltern or something, many yrs ago. She's really cruddy. I blame her for being the seminal figure in the Whiny, Self-Confessional School of Girl Singer-Songwriters that ultimately split out into Lilith Fair & other crap-confessional directions. But the Willies played some good rock & roll that night. They played their song Some Become Strangers & other stuff from that album (which I have mostly forgotten). In the corner of my mind, I was hoping Nicks, Stevie would show up, but no go & no show. This was back in the late 1980s.

i really like their sound David...but i always thought they were kind of gospel like...this was the song that really changed my mind about them...reminds me of the tarney spencer band from the early 80's and no time to loose...u like me don't u has a very similar sound maybe that's why this is the reason i keep playing it...take care...pat
