Default Stand Back - the terrorists are coming!

Apparently Rudy Giuliani is using "Stand Back" as one of his campaign theme songs.

Does anyone have any more info on this? Is he playing it at rallies or fundraisers, using it for TV/radio ads, practicing flying backwards on a treadmill while wearing white chiffon wings... ?

^

I had considered the drag aspect, but not the NOTS. Jazmen knows the organizers - maybe he can find out for us.

Other than that - I just can't think of many worse songs to use for a campaign. At least the "Don't Stop" lyrics can be interpreted as a message of hope. (And it's mentioned in the article too as the holy grail of theme songs...) I can even understand "Eye of the Tiger" despite its played-out status. But how can a song about a fight with a (possibly cheating) boyfriend even begin to fit - unless he's just using an instrumental loop?

Rudy needs a little sympathy, I guess.

Hmmmm I think those might be enough to send the terrorists packing.
