Stevie's Mom's Shop - help

[seeker007nmss]

I just have to ask - what is the real deal on Stevie's Mom's shop? I see "owned by Stevie" stuff on ebay alot lately. Some with a little note, some with just the reciept, some not,....... I am so confused. Was all this stuff really "Owned" by her? What's the scoop? I never had a chance to go there and would love to know what it was like and what the story is on all these "things".
(Sorry, but some of those things seem so Un-Stevie I can't imagine her actually wearing them) Gifts? Maybe? She didnt want?

Thanks All!

Silver Springs Emporium was Stevie's mothers antique shop in Payson, Arizona. I've been there 2x, but I'm pretty sure it's closed now~
It wasn't high end antiques, it was mostly the type of stuff you'd find at any typical antique mall or swap meet. There was a Stevie section with a rack of old clothes, a few cases of costume jewelry,
and behind a counter some signed stuff like tambourings, photos, ect~
It is true that Stevie did own this stuff. I have a feeling that most of the jewelry was probably given to her by fans and such, but who really knows~
When I was there (& thru mail order) I purchased a signed tambouring, a signed 25yrs boxed set, a cameo broach, a necklace, and 2 shawls, one of which I was told came from one of Stevie's homes~
As for the stuff on ebay, it's possible that it's from the shop and now someone is selling it for a huge profit~
It has been said that Stevie's mom is going to open another shop in Pheonix, but like so many things that we fans have been waiting for, this has not happened~

Hope this helps to answer your ?

All I can add about her mom's store is that I ordered a signed "Rooms On Fire" 45 from there for some ridiculous amount ($65 maybe) thinking that at least that way I knew it was real. It took months to be sent (after much calling and complaining) and although it does look like Stevie's signature, it is barely scratched on the cover obviously by a dying pen. Every experience I have had with merchandise, fan clubs or fan mail has basically been bad! Ricoh
