Space Needle is far more interesting to me lyrically than Thrown Down but it puts me in the mind of Joan of Arc- interesting but WEIRD. Ican'timagine it ever being on a FM album.

I agree with Storms and Beautiful Child for sure...especially from Storms...the chorus...
Every hour of Fear I spend My body tries to cry Living through each Empty night A deadly call inside... That just gives me the chills. I always listen to this when I feel like I need a good cry...'cause it never fails to get me going!! I've felt like that too many times not to be affected by it. The whole darn song though. Beautiful Child...the ending... I'm not a child, I know I will do as I'm told Even if I never hold you...again... Ever had to say goodbye when all you wanted was to stay? The saddest lyric for me is on If You Ever Did Believe.
You've left me now and it's seasoned my soul And with every step you take, I watch another part of you go... I continue to build a wall... You were so strong, I fell to my knees... And I don't think I can handle this at all Also the part at the end where she repeats "baby don't leave me, I'm down on my knees". This just kills me because I have been there before. Sean

- "I would be your only dream - your shining over oceans crashing" it just sounds like she so desperately wants to be EVERYTHING to someone, and damn, don't we all know how she feels... - basically all of storms (that song gets me ALWAYS) but particularly: "I should have known from the first - I'd be the broken hearted - but I loved you from the start - save us... and not all the prayers in the world could save us" - and also Beautiful Child in itself... Some of my favorite tear jerkers:

We were very close, and I always think of her when I hear it. God's Garden also reminds me of her  ------------ "Oh who is the beauty...who the beast Would you die of grieving when I leave Two children too blind to see I would fall in your shadow...I believe" My all time favorite tear jerker. ---------------- "I'm tall enough To reach the stars I'm old enough To love you from afar....I wish that you were mine" Been there. ----------- "In my distress...well I wanted someone to blame me In my devastation...I wanted so to change In my way...disaster was the only thing that I could depend on..." Been there too! ------------- "In your darkest sorrow Did you ever hear me sing?"
