Default Just a heads up ...

Sweet!

Stevie is featured in a one-page article in the Fall/Winter InStyle Home magazine. She is on the last page with that fab picture of her standing with a guitar and she is interviewed about her love of collecting lamps.

The pic is about 7/8 of the page with just a few questions and answers.

Quote from the article: "You can have a crummy little apartment -- like Lindsey [Buckingham] and I did when we first moved to L.A. -- but if you have the right lighting, it can look like a palace."

Love when she is featured in major mags like InStyle. Don't know if this is on the stands yet but the pic is awesome and makes it worth picking up!

Here's the transcript of the article.

(What I Collect)
Pop-music legend Stevie Nicks lights up over her obsession.

Her Passion: "I have always loved lamps," says the rock diva, who owns two dozen Tiffany-style fixtures. "You can have a crummy little apartment -- like Lindsey [Buckingham] and I did when we first moved to L.A. -- but if you have the right lighting, it can look like a palace."

Her Theory: "I believe in lighting. I think that people would be cheered up if they had the right lighting. Go toward the light; the light is good."

Her Favorite: "My mom bought me a beautiful blue mushroom lamp," says Nicks of the inspiration for her song "Blue Lamp," on her 1998 box set, Enchanted. "I took it on an airplane; they almost wouldn't let me. I had to sit with it in the back, next to the bathroom!

Thanks for the heads-up. I subscribe to "In Style" but "In Style Home" is a quarterly publication that's seperate from the regular In Style magazine.
