I know exactly what you mean. I understand that the producer has a lot to do with that as well. I just wasn't total clear when I mentioned being annoyed.

Wow, I wonder what made her change it to what came out on the album? Thanks for posting this Michelle, I had never heard this before.

It’s on my list of Stevie songs that are fun and upbeat. And as far as her vocals, I find “Seven Wonders” to be one of her strongest vocals ever. There was something very powerful and sexy about Stevie’s vocals during the Tango era, and that is especially evident on the remixes of Big Love and Family Man. Stevie came out of Betty Ford feeling great obviously and it showed in her vocal delivery on Tango. And bite your tongue on the suggestion that fans don’t like “Desert Angel.”

Ok ok, I do know a lot of fans don’t like it, but I will never understand why. The music is beautiful and her vocals on that tracks are some of her most passionate ever.
I love Stevie's vocals on Tango! I love all of Stevie's voices through the years! You have the voice from 1975-1978 then the 1979-1981 voice, then the 1982 voice, then the 1983-1984 voice, then the 1985-1986 voice, and so on. Each year (or every other year) her voice did some changing...And I have always liked each change.
