What would the Stevie version of the Dewey Decimal System be called?

The MR list should be easy enough - it's correlating all the "old demos" with the master list that sounds the trickiest.

Hi Everyone,
I am relatively new here. I read posts but have never posted until today. I think this concept of sharing downloads is fantastic! So in the spirit of all that I have a few to add to someone's collection...

Not sure if anyone posted this, but at times, I can't stop listening to

BATB - Tusk Version

Such a powerful song, such a shame that Lindsey over produced it on SYW.

Now how do you feel?

I organize my stuff by song name, unless it's a live show or complete master reel, which I keep intact as a set. I gave up on organizing by album a long time ago, since so many songs were recorded during multiple album sessions and since there is so much conflicting information. (For instance - the Julia #5 Outtake first came to me 15 years ago on a cassette labelled as Wild Heart outtakes...)

Instead I create playlists thru my media player - Unreleased Songs, Bella Donna Outtakes, Piano Demos Only, etc etc That way a song can be accessible thru a number of different playlists without having multiple copies in different folders on my PC.

I did something very similar. i totally gave up trying to organize demos by album era because so many demos were worked on for multiple albums. I got a huge list from the trading ring, similar to Sara's old list and I just try to keep track of what I download by referring to that. I have a folder for every letter of the alphabet and I put all the "A" songs (After the Glitter Fades, All the Beautiful Worlds..ETC) in one folder, the "B" songs in another, and so on. I refer to my list and see what I need. I keep everything named exactly like I download it, but may add something extra so I can reference it. This has always worked for me. Many times, when things are very similar, I can tell what is what by the length of the song. Sara listed the running time of each demo and that helped me tremendously. I am still far from what I would call organized but at least I know that I am not downloading things multiple times and putting them in five different folders.

no problem. you're all welcome. I'll have more up tonight.

everyone that downloads these though is required by law to add me as a friend on myspace (www.myspace.com/jazmenflowers) and/or post a comment telling me how much they love me and how awesome I am -or- stop by YouTube and post a comment about how awesome I am there (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EvvQ4eqqjzo).
Hey Jazmen....

I just wanted you to know that I have not forgotten your prerequisite (or postrequisite) for the myspace and joining your fanclub...(BTW -- I already am a member or your fan club....I just don't pay dues LOL)

My high school teenager is gonna help me spruce up my - myspace page....it is pretty pathetic right now and I resemble a loser....so your add will be coming this weekend, with lots and lots of accolades about how you are my hero.....etc. etc.

Betsy

I finally was able to download again and OMG!! That was great! I was dying. That was the first I've ever actually *heard* her ask for a joint. LOL In this session - who is Rick that is she talking to that is in a band? (Rick Springfield????) Is 'Herbie' Worthington? (She asked him for candles and incense). She also mentioned Tom playing bass I assume this is Tom Petty, although I didn't hear him talking at all. I'm also assuming this is from 1980? Thanks for posting these! The Buckingham Nicks live was great too. Does anyone know where this was taped? Also - it listed Long Distance Winner but it's missing.

Does anyone have any others??? My ipod is nearly full, but I'm willing to delete some songs for more of these great demos.

I have essentially the same concert except my line-up has Never Goin' Back Again. The source I got it from from indicated this was the last show they performed as Buckingham Nicks before starting with FM and was at the Municipal Auditorium in Birmingham, AL on 1/31/75.

There was a guy named Rick Nowels who co-wrote with Stevie for years.

Probably Tom Moncrieff, an old friend from pre-Fleetwood Mac Los Angeles years.
