Oh honey!

I have a whole video of that...guess who else was there?? Lindsey...and he was in rare form. Hes wearing sunglasses and not speaking clearly at all. He rambles how Prince's cinematography was great ...

I bet his record label made him go because he was in total Go Insane gear at the time...and he probably heard about Stevie and Prince having their thing and he probably indulged in some kind of liquor or weed before going because he probably didn't want to see the movie or see Stevie or see Prince.

Its funny because even coming out of the movie he wore sunglasses *two different interviews* but thats the funniest premiere ever!

Lindsey did Pee Wee Big Top movie and was so funny and nice...it was just Purple Rain he acted REALLY weird!!

I wonder if Stevie knew Lindsey would be there before she went...she didn't get an interview and that one shot is the ONLY shot of her.

didn't she say she left in the middle of it cause she was offended by the "violent" scenes?

I'd love to see that video.

Janet, which one was that on?
I so missed it!
I was mad because they did a whole national almpoon Vacation spot and talked about EVERYTHING in taht movie, all the while playing Holiday Road, and never even said, "with a really cool theme song by Lindsey Buckingham", and then on the We Are the World segment, he was always behind a pole or decapitated in every shot.....

Granted, I wasn't glued to my set, or anything, but I would have loved to have seen that!

And, I like your question. Why was he there, all liquored up? hee hee!

O/T: I would love to see a collaboration between Prince and LB aswell...I think it would be really great. They both have a very deep sense of music and know how to make full use of a studio and a whole variety of instruments.

Mac Fan, I don't think this is being shown in the UK...not at the moment anyway.
