With all due respect, it was a fellow 7 wonder-er who called you retarded and nuts, not a Ledgie. Someone who has been on the Ledge for less than, oh say, 3 months, is hardly in the position to be the welcoming committee or board police.

I'm not trying to be board police either... I'm just commenting on what is obviously a ridiculous situation.

Just remember, if and when you can, take the high road. There are 3,000+ people here... you can use the ignore feature on anyone who bothers you without running out of people to talk to. Going on and on and on about it is what's retarded and nuts. Just a thought you might consider.

FYI I had two other non FM boards go down today with the same "can't find" error message....and they are still down.

That leads me to believe 7W is having server trouble and was not intentionally shut down. We'll see what happens.

For whatever it's worth, someone I'm pretty familiar with came into Nicksfix chat a few weeks ago and told us that she had heard a rumor that Seven Wonders was being shut down at the end of July. That's why I'm pretty quick to believe it. (This is someone reliable, i.m.o.)

Well, if that's true, it must be a money issue with the administrator....there would be no other reason, imo, to shut it down after all the time and effort that went into creating the site. Many of the supporting members were banned.

I do hope 7 wonders gets back up soon . It was/is my fave stevie /FM mac board next to the ledge ...

too bad there was alot of silly drama that left people with bad feelings

I agree. There is a lot of silly animosity by the banned with those that remained...like we had anything to do with it.

I wouldn't call any animosity we have for the owner of that board "silly"...
and any toward some of the remaining members would have to do with their comments and or actions after we were banned, and could not defend ourselves, which they ONLY did for the fact they knew that...
Luckily, that plan didn't fly, as we still were heard

I was totally shocked to read the comments made about us by a lot of the remaining members. I don't have any use for any of those people anymore. I would have had no problem had they said that **** when we were able to respond instead of being childish and cowardly.

Not everyone mind you, but quite a few. And I see some have migrated here in the past week.

When I was global mod Brian had told me quite frequently in the past months (I can say this freely since he posted it in FAQ after the bans) that he was seriously contemplating shutting the board at the end of the summer. So, it's quite a good possibility that it is down for good.

IMO and it's only MO, I don't see much good in going on and on questioning whether or not the site will come back. Either it will or it won't. He didn't have the courtesy to notify his members either way so I can't see the point in giving him this much air time discussing it...

The board is definately not coming back...when you search for it, it comes up as a dead or inactive site.

btw......quite a few of the Wonderers have migrated here in the last few days. Yea.
