don't lie. you like it cuz you're depraved. :P

but it's true.. and the funny thing about what's newsworthy. every channel, every paper, every mag talks about the same ****. did you know that the war in iraq, paris hilton going to jail, and lindsey lohan flipping out are the only events going on in all of the world, all day, every day? there is absolutely nothing else happening at any time to talk about! eyerolllll.

i really just can't bring myself to watch or read anymore. editorials are as far as i explore these days.

Yes. And the rest of them had some close calls. Also just because Stevie doesn't have a license doesn't mean she didn't drive. Remember that red Jeep Herbie sold about ten years ago? He says Stevie drove it.

the way he writes about women (and he does say his songs are very auto-biographical), i can't see him going into any relationship half-assed. he seems very passionate. i think he really cared about her a lot but she's just a mess -- and i think though initially, she used him for publicity, she cared about him in her own way. i always thought she far too vapid for him, though.

honestly, i hadn't opened his new album -- and i've had it since may -- until the day before i went to see him (i went for work). i pretty much became a fan and haven't been able to stop listening to continuum. if you don't have the album, i'll send you a song or two. i don't trust myself (with loving you) is downright hot (and i wonder if it wasn't written about simpson given the time frame).

well, yeah...that too

it's hysterical to me that right now, the featured news story on the front page of yahoo is "'Two Coreys' comeback" i mean, are you serious? but, i shouldn't be that surprised.

I haven't purchased the whole album yet, just a couple of songs off iTunes. Now I'm curious about the lyrics to I Don't Trust Myself.
How do you like your job? Isn't it cool to get to listen to such a wide variety of bands? Do you find yourself listening to stuff that you never thought you would? I often did. Do you get to see the whole show? And isn't it cool when you see a really great performance by an artist or band that just kind of gives you a buzz? It's like their gift just makes the world a little brighter for a while. That was one of the things that kept me coming back. Okay I'll stop now. I realize that I may be starting to sound like a ridiculous fan girl.

Now even the New York Times makes you pay to read Frank Rich or Maureen Dowd.

I just can't bring myself to pay someone to tell me what they think. I can tell people what I think for free... and I can find others who will tell me what they think (when I care to do so) just as easily. Web articles are awesome as long as they're free.

Ha! Two more rehab survivors. Ya gotta admit, The Lost Boys was a good movie though.
I guess their reality show couldn't suck any harder than Paula Abdul's. What is she thinking?

David may still be in a place where is is angry about his own experience with a substance abuser. I find myself angry watching these celebrities getting behind the wheels of cars- especially when they have the resources NOT to. Hell, those limo drivers aren't going to turn them in to the cops if they're snorting coke in the back. I think it's a feeling of, "I am in control of this situation- I can handle it".

Either way- since I don't know Lindsay Lohan personally, I really don't care what she does.

the lyrics...

Quote:
no, i'm not the man i used to be lately
see, you met me at an interesting time
if my past is any sign of your future
you should be warned before i let you inside

hold on to whatever you find, baby
hold on to whatever will get you through
hold on to whatever you find, baby
i don't trust myself with loving you

i will beg my way into your garden
i will break my way out when it rains
just to get back to the place where i started
so i can want you back all over again
(i don't really understand)

hold on to whatever you find, baby
hold on to whatever will get you through
hold on to whatever you find, baby
i don't trust myself with loving you

who do you love?
girl i see through your love
who do you love?
me or the thought of me?
me or the thought of me?

hold on to whatever you find, baby
hold on to whatever will get you through
hold on to whatever you find baby
i don't trust myself with loving you

hold on to whatever you find baby
hold on to whatever gets you through
hold on to whatever you find, baby
i don't trust myself with loving you
i don't trust myself with loving you
i don't trust myself with loving you
i don't trust myself with loving you
i love my job. i miss my internship, though. that was THE place to hear good **** and hear it first -- like peter bjorn & john (and some not so good **** -- hi, beyonce). i just wish that in retrospect, i had taken more advantage of it. i can tell you right now, the new movie once has an amazing soundtrack so you should check that out. radio is a different kind of animal altogether but its allowed me to see some amazing shows for free and do a lot of really incredible things. i'm looking forward to heart and genesis in september -- not to mention some other really random stuff in between.

Heart has always been great every time I have seen them. I look forward to hearing about Genesis. I wasn't really impressed with them at Live Earth. However, their full on show might be different.

locally, our top story at 4pm was -- lindsay lohan. which is pathetic for philadelphia considering the crime wave that still continues.
