My divorce was final May 25. Hallelujah! Everyone toasted, partied, and I salsa danced on the tour bus like there was no tomorrow.

She must really HATE her ex-husband!

that strikes me as quite.... unchristian, no? isn't she always talking about her religion and her faith and love? do christians so openly embrace divorce?

(i'm seriously asking here. i have no clue. it's just a hunch i have that, um, they don't)

Eh, she always used to talk about her husband very positively and lovingly. I wonder what happened? She posted about her upcoming divorce several times on her blog...so I guess she is just glad it is final. I don't see anything that "unChristian like" about being relieved a stressful time is over. Her comments sound more like a dig at the Ex than anything else. We all get bitter once in awhile, even Christians.

That was my first thought too. They probably spent a good deal of their time apart as he is a musician as well.

Maybe she doesn't but her divorce was real long and not friendly. I know I still love my ex husband but I was happy it was over~ cause it was hell~ and he was the one who wanted the divorce~ I never want to be in a court room again after that~ I was happy when that whole year was over!
