Oh yeah, the Wilburys. I've heard about them being reissued at the time. I grew up on the Wilburys. And on Roy Orbison's Mystery Girl, I found Billy Burnette and Rick Vito in the credits. That's how I connected to Fleetwood Mac.

"No More Tears" - Ozzy Osbourne

I'm currently interested in the musical that Ozzy has been rumored to be writing about one 'Mad Russian' "Rasputin"....Just in a Russian state of mind today

I'm pretty sure he did away with this idea. Think I read a recent interview where he decided it was a stupid idea.

Things I've been playing most over the last few weeks:

Ozzy Osbourne - Black Rain (with all the bonus tracks )
Whitesnake - Restless Heart (I never realised Brett Tuggle was on this! It's one of my favourite 'Snake albums as well.)

And a million other things on my mp3 player

Yesterday it was Peter Green's Robert Johnson Songbook and Eric Clapton's Me & Mr Johnson - just for a comparison.

For the previous 2 weeks it has been Pavlov's Dog pretty solid - first At The Ring Of The Bell, then more recently Pampered Menial.

I was surprised these guys are a bit of an obscure band in the US - when I was growing up nearly everybody's older siblings (and sometimes younger parents) had one or the other of the albums.

the musical may not see the light of day, but there is a chance the music may be the next solo Ozzy release (Ala the upcoming Judas Priest concept album about Nostradamus)

Do you recommend the new Ozzy album? Most of the word of mouth I have heard says its an average album, but not a great one ala "No More Tears".

Right now:
Stevie Nicks - "The Divine" (Import disc)
