Thumbs up Favorite Genre of Book

I know there are a lot of readers on here on the Ledge andd I was just curious to what our favorite genres are.

Personally I think I am a Thriller Lover (Sidney Sheldon as you know) although any kind of commercial fiction is good........
The novel that I am writing is a Thriller, so it fits me well.
I know, I know, commercial isn't literature.....

My favorite authors include, Sidney Sheldon, Danielle Steel, John Grisham, and I like Stephen King.

Much Love,
Ethan

I like thrillers and misteries but I chose non-fiction cause i looove Bios.. yes they're right when they said real life is more interesting than any novel, fiction or thriller. The bios I remember I've read are:

MICK FLEETWOOD
Tina Turner
Celia Cruz
Freddie Mercury
Eagles
Elizabeth Taylor
Gloria Estefan

I remember I had the Charles Chaplin autobigoraphy in my hands at Barnes&Noble and then an old man asked at the cashier for that book. She told him I was getting the last issue, and the man was so sad, he didn't even ask me but I recognized he was a diehard fan (I was just interested in Chaplin's life, but not a great fan), so I immediately gave him the book, it was my good action of the day. The man was so happy...

Southern Gothic is my fave form of fiction. Mainly because my family is itself just one long Carson McCullers novel.

I also love reading biographies, especially those of jazz and blues singers - ones I've enjoyed were on Nat King Cole, Sarah Vaughan, Dinah Washington, Ruth Brown, and Billie Holiday, to name a few.

Lately I haven't been reading much except Buddhist scripture and commentaries. I think a trip to the library is in my future.
