Look, whatever da setlist is, just don't harsh my buzz, 'kay?? I say that in the spirit of "Concerts are just fun".

I didn't see Stevie in Vegas this yeah. Last time I saws her was with Petty. So I'm dredging up all my old excitement and enchantment. Setlist? Same. Voice? A tiny bit bettah, mostleh the same. Stevie in front of your face, singing at you, while flirting with Chris? Priceless.

Now that we know she will "suck", we can all relax and have a good time.

I still don't have my ticket, so, you know, I hope you will be kind to the "little people" and wave to me in back.

Also, for everyone, the online scalpers have dropped their prices. i was seeing fifth row for around $150 ish. And that extended a bit to even closer rows.

Does anyone know what these online scalpers do with their hot tix at the last minute? Someone told me they released them back into Ticketmaster, but that doesn't sound right, although I hope it is true. I mean, on the last day, they all have to be ticketfast tickets, or will call, and it's hard for me to believe these scalpers would take such a big $ hit so close to the show without being able to release them back into TM. My point is, if no one buys these tickets, they must be available, but where? And how? You can't just ditch pit tickets. Someone has to get them. I guess they must be released back, because even if online scalpers had them, if no one bought them, they must show up as available in the TM system.
No, wait, the scalpers already bought them, so...Dammit!!! How does this **** work? I just think that with so many online ticket scalpers out there holding good seats, that there must be some sort of "release back into the system" system.
Whatever, this thing was mostly academic, but could become very practical in the next day - but I really do want to know. But I just looked at the TM Concord Box Office hours, and it said they were open Monday and Friday and some other weekend day. Only. As in, Only Monday and Friday and some other.
So I can't storm the box office on a Thurs, apparently, except by phone.
But again, all these online scalper PIT tickets have to go SOMEWHERE. My point? My point is, WTF? Where will all these awesome tickets be in the next day or so?
I can't pretend I'm not more than slightly pissed off. Not directly (but definitely indirectly) cause of the tix, just because I've been trying to solve this same ticket mystery for years, without much luck. Okay, sure, ticket situtations get me into a froth. I would be lying if I denied my froth. But my query in its entirety is a whoooole nother dimension of tickets. One that I haven't even heard the best FM ticket minds solve completely. Without the help of photoshop.

All I'm saying is, there is a lot of good seats online through scalpers, and, yet, I have no access to these tix, right now, a mere day before the event, and so, where do these awesome seats go? Were they always theoretical?

It just.doesn't.make.sense.

I know everyone else here just tries to get their tix, including me. And we've all bitched about who has the tix. But I don't recall anyone every confronting the mystery of the tix.
If other people can get these great tix, but not us, there must be a thing. Even the most diligent of us can rarely get good tix at the first sale, or otherwise. Yet somehow, online scalpers have these tix. Why is that? That is not fair. TM must have some kind of deal with them, otherwise they would not show up with all the good tix. No way.
So what kind of lame ass deals is TM making? We all know that we have literally been there from the first moments tickets were supposedly on sale, and we haven't been able to get bupkus. Yet, the same day, online scalpers have first row available?? WTF?

Amber even hates 4th row, she can't believe you would mention the lawn.
And Amber doesn't talk about herself in the third person unless it is ticket serious.
TICKET. SERIOUS.
AND IT IS, RIGHT NOW.
Do not speak of subpar tickets, I do not want the universe to know they exist. All my concentration is centered on good tix. Please think only of good tix for us. In everything you do, imagine good cheap tickets, that I win on the radio. Think only of that front seat. Pretend you have no knowledge of your inferior seat.
It's like cops - if you don't notice them, they won't think about you either. Always look innocent, always imagine the best tickets. Don't make me come over there. Because that would take away energy I need to win seats.
Focus, Ryan, Focus. Consciously imbue Amber with thoughts of winning on the radio. Do not speak negatively of said show. Said show will be great, and you will be happy. Think of nothing besides tickets in relation to Stevie, now. Grasshoppah.

Greetings and Salutations my Sisters and Brothers!

The roll call and countdown to the “Tour Kickoff” is right!!! It’s that “magickal” time again. I hope all is well in each and every one of your kingdoms. I’ve missed conversing with you folks. Please accept my apologies for being a stranger to this fantastic forum setup here for us. Time isn’t what it used to be. That stated, I would like to say I’ve really enjoyed reading your threads all throughout the years. I’m going to try to be more present.

Well kids, I have to confess. I cheated…big time! I have bit the bullet and purchased tickets for Concord through a broker (StubHub) ($552 for two tickets including shipping and commission). I swore to myself I never would do this…that is until I discovered the true evil nature of what I now know is TicketMaster! I guess this is where I say “If you can’t beat ‘em – join ‘em!”

Can I say…that I really hate the whole process of acquiring tickets for Stevie’s shows? It’s an absolute heartache. “Sometimes it’s a Bitch, Sometimes it’s a breeze!” But most of the time it’s the absolute worst! Not knowing I’d be jumping from one fire into another with respect to not knowing exactly where the seats are, whether or not I would receive them in time, or even if I did…whether they’d be valid.
Kill me now and put out of my misery. I did call StubHub and they did assure me that the seller has been very reputable with ebay for the past 3 years with no complaints. It did make me feel better about ruling out possible fraud. Yes indeed I have had really great luck in the past with TicketMaster at the very last minute for scoring really great seats in the past 4th row or better, but this year had me spooked because of Chris Isaak's participation. To think people will actually be there to see him and not Stevie really is disconcerting to me.

These are the facts as I understand them. The online sellers do release these unsold tickets back to TicketMaster more often than not, depending on the Promoter or Venue. Often times these sellers actually work for TicketMaster…isn’t that sinister? That’s how they’re able to acquire these blocks of choice seats so easily. Aaaaah…to be on the inside. I have found that diligence pays off and try to catch TicketMaster just as they’re updating their systems usually mid-morning – late night this...varies. I always try to probe as much info when I call these Reps to glean any insight into mastering this game myself.

I’ll tell you, though, I am done – you here me…done with this game. It’s not fun anymore. I’m too old for this. I have decided to set up a Stevie Nicks Concert Fund immediately following this concert so as to always be able to afford secondary market ticket prices. I don’t even care anymore. I know this is going to sound terrible and I am so embarrassed to admit this but…I can't bring myself to attend a Stevie / Fleetwood Mac Concert unless I’m within the first 7 rows. I think it’s some kind of psychological disease where I feel if I’m going to be that close to Stevie for a few hours I need it to be as intimate as possible. The first 7 rows I suppose satisfies this desire…no?

Needless to say, I’m beside myself when I say to you that I, at least, will be sitting in the 2nd row of the pit!!! AAAAHHHHHH!!!! I am very excited!!! Stevie’s worth it. It’s only too bad she doesn’t reap the benefits of secondary market prices though. What a crime. I’ve been seeing her for over 20 years now. “Rock A Little” was my first tour at 14 years old. I’m dating myself for sure!

I’m hoping to meet some of you at this concert this time. Last time Stevie came around I posted a thread to see if anyone from the ledge would be there - no one responded. Alas, I didn’t meet anyone from the ledge. Again, and as always I will be the crazy one with the wild blond main of hair with top hat and beribboned tambourine dancing up a storm in the 2nd row. I am not particularly shy, so I probably will be saying hello to everybody at that show. I hope it’s one of you guys. Say Hello!

A special hello to Miss Jazmen Flowers! I was sorry that I didn’t have the where-with-all to attend your “Crystal Visions” event. I know it was very special. I know how much work goes into producing something like that. I’ve finally seen some pictures of you, and if I do say so myself, you are absolutely gorgeous! I would love to see the new shawls you debuted. I, myself, am a “Female Illusionist” (if you will) in San Francisco. I belong to the Imperial Court, a fundraising Drag organization up here in San Francisco. www.imperialcouncilsf.org Stevie is definitely my muse when I perform. I would love to know where and how you cobbled together some of your stage clothes. If you get an opportunity check out this website for some very affordable and very beautifully made corsets. www.timeless-trends.com I’m hoping you’ll being able to produce your next event in the bay area. If you ever need help in making this happen please let me know. I’ve done my “Gypsy Hijinks” events here for several years. This past February I produced “The Wild Hearts Ducal Ball”. Though it was Stevie inspired it was more Gypsy in theme. I really loved the choices you made for your set list. It sounds like everyone had a great time.

Well, again I hope to have a chance to party with some of you this Thursday night. Above all else…be safe and blessed and enjoy the show...and remember go ahead "Dress like a Gypsy!"

Yours with Love, Light, and Magick,

hi! thanks for the compliment. I appreciate that. I do have a bitchspace...www.myspace.com/jazmenflowers and some video on YouTube, just search for Jazmen Flowers. hopefully, once I get some video of this past weekend's show you'll be able to see the 2 shawls I made. I made a black sparkly one that was really not hard at all to make, but I also made a red shawl with gold fringe and sparkly circles that took forever to finish. as for how I amassed my clothing, a lot of it starts with clothes I find at various retailers and then I just put my own Stevie spin on it. like, I found an awesome leotard type top that was a sort of wrap dress at Wal-Mart...yes, Wal-Mart. I took it home, sewd some batwings on it and that has pretty much become my staple outfit. I buy a lot of clothing from dancers' supply stores. and then a lot of it is just made from scratch.

thanks for the link, I'll have to check them out. and btw, you are certainly stunning as well. I love your hair and makeup. take care and have a great time at Stevie's concert.
