in duplicate form, on purpose, on a SF bus? creep factor off the scale, man. (btw, i notice you can't see their shoes in that photo. i bet they're four sizes too big, with a bell on the toe. mark my words.)

There isn't one creepy thing about the SF twins. They are eccentric, that's it. They ride the bus because that's how people get around in this city. They are a total delight...always smiling, always saying hello to everyone.

I'm gonna go find more pics just to bug the handful of people who are trying to sour my thread.

You're souring your own thread with those freaks.

They can generally be found wandering around Union Square to the delight of tourists. Funny, one time they were out and about (for attention), as you do when you're dressed exactly the same, and I remember passing them and noticing their clothes were a bit tattered. I don't think they're wealthy by any means, in spite of the "look" they choose to stay locked in time with.

It does make me miss SF though. There are so many city regulars in SF and if you pay real close attention, you can get to know which bums live on which street.

I miss the mornings when the muni underground was packed with people. Their I was waiting on the platform only to have a train open it's doors and not being able to get in cause it was so crowded.
I miss rubbing bodies with random people on the packed muni on the way home from downtown.

Oh SF. You are loved and missed from this guy in boring LA.

Of course they aren't wealthy. They own a small store and live together in an apartment downtown.

Are you from SF originally?

I'm from the Bay Area and have lived in SF since '89. Believe me, I don't think it is perfect and have dealt with the negatives you have noted. The city has lost a lot of the magic and edge that I discovered when first moving here. Still, there is no other place I'd live.

for what it's worth, I think they are cute. for some reason, I picture them having a British accent although I know they don't. I'd like to have my picture took with them.
