Default My 2 cents

Geez people. She likes whatever music she likes. I really dont think she should be judged or called lame because of the music she likes. People are inspired by different types and genres of music. Some people here act like they know her or something. It is just strange. Geez...no wonder a lot of celebrities hesitate to share their opinions on anything.

I LOVE how the following artists were NOT on her list:
Janis Joplin
Eagles
REO Speedwagon
Crosby Stills Nash and Young
Supertramp
Peter Frampton
Foghat
Bread
Bad Comapny
Wishbone Ash
.38 Special
Average White Band
...
...
(I could go on ad nauseam)

I read that IMUS hated her playlist choices too.

She always talks about how nervous she is before shows, and I can't see her sitting around listening to this playlist to calm her nerves.

I'm thinking that she didn't want to seem fuddy-duddy, so she picked mostly fairly-current songs. I don't know it just seems odd to me.

It seems odd to me too. I really don't give a **** what the woman listens to, but it's just weird.

She said this is specifically a list of songs she listens to before taking the stage, not a generalization.

Exactly. I surely have playlist that show different genres and artist I listen to for different occasions. Maybe this is the type of music she wants to hear before she goes on stage.

^That would be cool, if you don't mind. I'm pretty sure I know the song, I just can't place it in my head right now.

I am interested. I knew everyone but that band. Thanks

Edit: I just found it on Napster. I remember that song now back from the mid 90's, but I didn't know the name of the band.

Me too, but not for the same reason. I'm just amazed at how defensive some people got. I don't think anyone was saying Stevie was lame. Just that her list was surprising. I was expecting her to list some of the people she always talks about being influenced by. V.Carlton isn't so surprising, but the rest?

I wonder how many Eminem and Gnarls Barkley songs would be on his list.
