We didn't travel much at all growing up, mostly just stayed in-state, but we also lived only 30 minutes from Texas, so we went a few places there...and then there was the California vacation of my youth...

Other than that I've done all my traveling on my own, either for fun or work - either way I LOVE seeing new places. I know people who've never been out of where they were born and raised....and I think that if one doesn't travel it really boxes them in...travel is such an amazing way to expand one's mind and horizons


And yeah...alcohol...I can tell stories of my time at NPR...including one abouta Friday roof-top keg party...man I miss that place
