It's a little bit dressier than a regular tank top. And I suppose one could wear it alone. My sweater is pointelle - it has tiny little patterns on it that you can see through, so it's not totally pointless in this case. Here it is, but mine's white:

I'm wearing a cami right now! And yep, I'm a hetero girl, I loves me some man junk!!! I have a grey Abercrombie lacy-top-n-bottom cami on with yoga pants, flip flops, and a dark grey Reuhl hoodie.
And I smell awesome too, I just sprayed on some body mist (Healing Garden White Tea) and I feel pretty!
