Default Shameful Self-Promotion
The title SHOULD be SHAMELESS

My Lily Tomlin story is up on the web!

I thought this deserved its own thread...because, well, it's Lily Tomlin, and me...in a story I produced.

Keep in mind we're a small operation...this is by no means a big NPR production - but I'm happy with it....

Since I'm "on the list" to meet her on Saturday - I'll post a pic on here...if I get one

The story can be found on the main page of our website:

www.kunc.org

A direct link:

- it's the second feature on our site

I LOVE your voice! So professional sounding(I don't mean that in a bad way. You sound like you've been doing interviews all your life!).
Congrats!

Congrats!
Thanks I always think I sound like a dope...but I appreciate the compliment...

And I appreciate all your kind words - I was very excited to even get this interview. And actually I've not done a produced piece like this in about a year - and I've never had to turn one around so fast, so overall I'm happy with the outcome.

People actually like American "accents"?

I already sent you a message, Dee, but I still haven't had a chance to listen. Soon.... like, when all the suits I work with go to their little hug fest at 8AM.

Good job! Extra points for being able to say "lip puckered snorting operator." That's quite a tongue twister - for me, anyway.
